painted table finished

meaning to paint the squares on this table since i brought it home a year and half ago. the squares primed and ready to go i decided to get it done over break. never expected to get so involved with the design yet wanted something light cheery feeling.
realized the squares might look nice in a grid and now consider making a painting similar sometime in the future ... i've got plenty to work on already and the payphone paintings are not forgotten (update coming soon).

i stuck white pieces of paper to the border of my monitor so my eyes focus less on screen, feels better.

'vase'

pussy-willows always make me feel nice. they remind me of being a little girl and bringing some home from the market with my mom. the 'vase' is made from some extra pieces of wood and the best super-soft yarn that likes to shed and for which i had no practical use for 'till now.

altoid nano case

too warm for nano-mitts now so i made an altoid carrier. saw this done elsewhere (and when i find site again i will post). used the original packaging for nano as padding, the ribbon is to lift nano out from a snug fit and the white stuff is cotton with white ink to keep it from spreading. a fun and easy diy.
